I think I will simply wait until it eventually makes its way to the university theater so I can just pay $1.50 to see it and make fun of it. As expected, the Movies in 15 Minutes parody is priceless

Woohoo! I was very much looking forward to this movie and it did not let me down! I saw it with my little sister (who loved the books) and it was absolutely sublime in that "so bad it's hilarious" type of way. And Robert Pattinson was hot (and so was the kid who played Jacob), so a good time was had by all.
The baseball game was by far the best part.
Actually, to be fair, there were (surprisingly) some parts that I enjoyed. I especially got a kick out of how socially awkward Edward seemed (although I suspect that was due to Robert Pattinson's acting abilities, and might not have been a deliberate choice).

Haven't seen Twilight and don't really expect to, but it's apparently hurting America, so I think I'll pass.

I will say this -- above the thoughts expressed in my review, my wife got more worked up over this movie, almost spitting-mad, than I've seen her in a long time. And this is a woman who inhales romance novels like you do air. She found it one of the most simpering, stupid and idiotic movies she's ever seen.

This is a conspiracy...
Twilight Rating Demographic: Males 5.0/10 Females 7.5/10 Males under 18 5.1/10 Females under 18 7.9/10
Disaster Movie Rating Demographic: Males 1.2/10 Females 2.7/10 Males under 18 1.2/10 Females under 18 3.8/10
Paths of Glory Rating Demographic: Males 8.6/10 Females 7.4/10 Males under 18 8.8/10 Females under 18 4.5/10
I think we know which demographic not to trust.
Also I want to express how infuriating it is that SOME PEOPLE have compared me to looking like what's his name the vampire; a character I find it abundantly hard to nail down a gender to. NO, I do not find this flattering at all.

Just saw it over the weekend with a couple friends, & I'm not gonna lie; I've never been more entertained with a movie before! We didn't stop laughing the whole time! I think I may have to do a Mutant Viewing when the DVD comes out...

Had an interesting conversation with the late-twenties male bartender at my local when I saw him with the last book...I'm not sure I'll ever be forgiven for pointing out to him that he was reading a novel for 14-year-old girls...
