Wow. That's a mighty strong endorsement. Ordinarily, I might have been scared away, who knows. I'm not exactly a gore-hound, plus the movie seems thematically confusing. (And that coming from me, who's always complaining Hollywood is a slave to marketability.) But what you say is compelling. I will see this movie. Thanks, Kyle. "It will surely receive the America remake treatment" - Indeed.

Hmm...what with Kyle's glowing endorsement, and the rabid fans I've run across in the last 5 minutes I've spent looking up this movie, I think I'll check this out.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I am an immense fan of the book. It is published in America now, by the way, but it's going by the title "Let Me In", so don't get confused. I'm glad that the movie seems to have done the story justice; I can't tell you how much it made my day seeing a review for it on here.

I recently read a review of Twilight where the writer was saying that he'd just seen Let The Right One In, and other vampire movies really paled after seeing that. So, hey, you've got back up.
Good review!

I recently read a review of Twilight Justin, I'm beginning to think that you have an unhealthy obsession with this movie. You're not going to start....twinkling, are you?

I AM NOT OBSESSED.
I am just one of the unfortunate alive ones.

Uh huh. If you start skulking around and wearing all gray I'll be forced to come over there with garlic...wait, no. Well I'll bring a cross and...no. Holy water? Okay I'll fashion a wooden stake, then. Just you wait.
It's very limited, trying to threaten an Italian pastor vampire.

Yeah, but technically anyone could be considered susceptible to a stake through the heart. The only specifically-Italian-pastor-vampire weakness thus far discovered comes in the form of gigantic photoshopped-on man-boobs.

Yeah, but technically anyone could be considered susceptible to a stake through the heart. Totally what I was saying when I told him to just wait for it. I said I was limited, not optionless. I....I'll stick with the stake, thank you. Edited to add: Welcome to the forums, Negaknight! May you forever uphold the code of pessimistic chivalry. [/quote]
