I know some of you are far more tech savvy than I so here goes- if you were to say, break your cell phone in half... is there any way to get data off of it? Husband's flip phone was open and he stepped on it, breaking it in half, and the port where you would charge it is damaged. Is there any possible way to save the year's worth of pictures of my son?

Well, hopefully you guys saved the pictures to the SIM card (don't ask me what the acronym means) All you can really do is pop out the SIM card, put it into a new cell phone and hope for the best. Hope it helps.

I agree, but for good measure I asked my husband (who is an electronics technician for the military). He also agrees. I really hope you saved them to the SIM.

that's what I figured. He didn't save to the sim, unfortunately. My last hope is that I'll be able to download them via usb cable. I put my charged battery in and the keys lit up... so there's life, yet. ATT store didn't have the cable so I bought one online and am hoping for the best. If it doesn't work at least I'll have the cable to back up the pics on my own phone. Thanks for the advice...
