The title's kind of self-explanatory, really- we've all seen shows that just didn't live up to their snappy themes. That doesn't mean you hated the show, or even thought it was just average; maybe you liked it, but still felt that it never quite rocked as much as its theme song. What shows/themes do you feel fall into this category?
I'll start off the nominations with The O.C. I never watched the show when it was on, but my wife watches reruns every so often. It's okay, I don't hate it, but every single time that awesome Phantom Planet refrain fades out, I know it's all downhill from there.

Perfect Strangers Greatest American Hero (Not that I didn't love the show, but that theme song is timeless) Dennis the Menace (the old Jay North live action one. Great opening credits, crummy show) Rawhide Green Acres

Well, I don't know if I'd say better than the show (more like it's part of the package), but Brisco County Jr.'s theme is great.

How has no one (huckle) mentioned this already? Thundercats. Once the opening credits stopped, they didn't jump around in the air throwing bombs or deflect evil energy with their swords held dangerously close to their eyes, they just STOOD THERE.
Some people accuse a lot of cartoons of doing this, but it makes the most sense. You're always guaranteed to watch the intro, since you see it every episode. Logically the animation budget should make for a good title. Ninja Turtles is sometimes sited but I think the show had pretty decent animation for a kid's cartoon.
Also, one cannot make a list like this without listing Power Rangers.

Given half a chance, my dad will start singing the theme to "Beverly Hillbillies". From what I've seen of the show, I'm just glad he's not quoting lines from it.

Kinda prompts me to nominate Psycho Dad... but that show is probably awesome! (No offense, just free-associating here.) But, Ladies and Gentleman: Eyes on Springfield!

The show was okay, but for some reason I find the theme song to "Cheers" never gets old.
