Have any of you guys or gals seen this new show? It's really damn cool. It deals with a sort of parallel world where America isn't called America and is a kingdom with Ian McShane as king. There are some interesting sub-plots and somewhat of a religious nuance, but if I didn't find it annoying I don't think believers will have anything with it.
I find the premise to be very interesting and am looking forward to the next episode.

I watched part of it, partially because I was interested in it being advertised as a very broad adaption on the story of David in the Bible (David Shepherd? Goliath tanks? Get it?) and partially because the trailer I saw online looked pretty cool.
I have to admit though that it didn't do a thing for me. I thought the acting was wooden and the dialogue pretty dreadful. So I turned it off early. Sorry, Storm_Rider.

I watched about half of it and found something else to do. I didn't hate it, it just didn't really grab me. And I was looking forward to it too.
