generally, i'm interested in any album that you HAD to have AS SOON as possible, whether that meant driving to 24-hour walmart at 12:01 a.m. to grab it off the shelf or waiting impatiently for itunes to allow downloading to commence on pre-ordered albums.
i've done both, and more! it's so much fun!
specifically, tonight i have to download either the dead weather's 'horehound' or the film soundtrack '500 days of summer.' i mean, i'm going to get both, that's a given! but which one should i download first?

I've never had this happen. But for me I'm extremely fickle when it comes to music, I mean I can feel all "I want to have this album's babies!" one minute and "if I listen to this ever again in my whole life I will puke!" the next. So I usually wait a while (weeks or even months) to see if I still like it enough to justify a buy.
So, I guess this has nothing to do with your post, but it inspired me to reply anyway.
