I just finished watching the first season on DVD, and I have to say that I'm actually surprised by how much I enjoyed it (despite the fact that it has Adam Baldwin in it). I definitely didn't know that it was going to be so funny, and I love pretty much every character.
The premise is kind of silly, and Chuck carries the Idiot Ball a little to frequently, but on the whole I think it's a really great show. I was pleased to discover that they were getting a 3rd season (even if it's only like, 13 episodes or whatever).
Anyways, anyone else watch/watched this show?

I freaking love "Chuck". It is my favorite show of all time.
I really get into all the geek culture references and I too love every character (especially Adam Baldwin as Casey. I have a friend who reminds me so much of him). I also really dig the Chuck/Sarah relationship.
There's just something about a geek pining after a girl like that speaks to my nerdy soul. It doesn't hurt that Yvonne Stravhoski is the most sensationally beautiful woman on the planet (besides my wife, of course. If you are reading this honey - remember, I love you). Stravhoski and Levi have a lot of chemistry that really gives the show spark.
The comedy can be kind of broad, I guess (especially the Jeff/Lester/Morgan stuff), but the rest of the show is so charming that it makes up for it. I also feel like it has some of the best choreographed fight scenes in any show on television.
Listen - you owe it to yourself to see Season 2. As great as Season 1 was, Season 2 is that much better. And it gets better and better all the way through the finale. A lot of the story unfolds and a lot of narrative ground is covered. I won't spoil anything for you, but you definitely need to see Season 2 before the 3rd Season starts in March.
2nd Season isn't out on DVD yet, but you can buy the first 11 episodes on Amazon or on Playstation Network or X-box Live (I assume). The last 11 episodes are available online for free (at least for now- NBC keeps messing with the listings).
Chuck Fans - Unite. We have to spread the love for this show. We have a 3rd season, thanks to fan support, now we have to make sure that people watch it.
"Chuck" is the best kept secret on television. To the uninitiated - pick up the first disc of Season 1 or watch an episode online. Give "Chuck" a chance. You won't regret it.

Well, looks like it's just you and me, aargmematey. That's sad. Come on world - give Chuck a chance! It's one of the few films or tv shows made by and for geeks. This is our time, people.

Y'know I've meant to watch this show ever since I found out it had been renewed for a second season and it just hasn't happened. I have friends who love it and harangue me for not joining in and even someone who is willing to lend me the DVDs. I dunno what's holding me back. Maybe someday...

Yeah, I know what you mean, Al. I was the same way.
Some friends of ours couldn't believe we didn't watch "Chuck". They told me how perfect it was for me and I still resisted.
Finally, my wife and I put it on our Netflix que. I'm telling you - I was hooked after the first episode.
Give it a shot. Really - I think you'll dig it.

Amazingly, my lack of Chuck knowledge came up two more times after I posted here yesterday. I think someone's trying to tell me something.

Further proof that anyone who sees it loves this show:
- I made my father, who has completely different tastes than I do, watch the pilot. Not only did he love it, but he watched 6 more episodes with me and says he will start watching when Season 3 starts in March.
Give Chuck a chance. I can almost guarantee you will like it.

I just watched a couple of episodes, WD40, so no need to send any goons after me, all right?
Chuck is fun. Bordering on guilty pleasure, though I definitely liked it. But Adam Baldwin must not be clean-shaven. That's like Pamela Anderson without her implants. Just wrong.

I watched the first season and loved it, but I never really got around to season 2 (mostly due to school and traveling. I lost track on ALL of my favorite TV shows, including the Office, which is just sad!)
I'll definitely rent (or perhaps even buy) season 2 when it's on DVD - I really did love season 1 and I'm so happy it hasn't been cancelled!
