Movie title help, please...

Okay, a year or two ago I saw a trailer for a movie and can't remember the title or who was in it. Here's what I remember:

You know how there's supposed to be an island where Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Kennedy, etc. are still alive? Well this was about a man who found the island (or it might have been an island of celebrity impersonators who wanted to make the myth real???). I think it was an indie movie.

Aaand that's about all I remember, except that the trailer made it look like Marilyn was the dude's guide.

Can anyone help me out on this?

I'm guessing that you mean "Lives and Deaths of the Poets." At least that's the only thing on IMDb that sort of fits.

Well after some time consuming digging (because it was seriously making me bonkers) I found it:

www.imdb.com/title/tt0475984/ Mister Lonely. So it was impersonators. I can't believe I didn't remember the dude was Michael Jackson.

It's funny I thought maybe it was Lives and Deaths of the Poets too, Sue.
