So I've got an article cooking that's titled a little something like this:
Top 10 Videogame Tracks Not Found in RPGs.
Fairly self-explanator premise. Here's the rub: So far, I've only come up with three. Like so:
Ace Combat 2--"Lode Stone" (Plane select)
Soul Blade--"Bravely Folk Song" (Cervantes' theme)
Mega Man X--"Palace Grounds" (Sigma stage one)
Have mercy on a fat man. Throw some ideas at me, and if I like them, I'll use them in the article. And if I don't like them, I'll more than likely still use them out of desperation.
The rules:
First and most obvious; no RPG tracks. Any fool can go bandying about your Dancing Mads and your One-Winged Angels; let's try for something a bit more esoteric.
Heather, this would make Okami highly suspect, in my estimation. I know one could make the case that it's more of an action/adventure game, but it's also very grandiose and pretty. Leave us look elsewhere.
Second: While multiple tracks from within the same franchise are fine (as in, feel free to make suggestions from Ace Combat 3 and beyond, or any of the other Soul or Mega Man games) I don't want more than one track from any one game. However... if you feel that one of my three picks, or any of those suggested by another forumite, is not the best representative for its particular game, feel free to say "Sucka, you out yo damn mind" and suggest a replacement.
But wait! There's more!
Now that we have the non-RPG article out of the way, how about an article apt to be RPG-heavy?
Top 10 Most Memorable Opening Cinematics.
This time, I have a whole four:
Wild ARMs
Final Fantasty Tactics
Chrono Cross
Soul Blade
Soul blade again? What a showoff!
Suggestions! Give!
