In an effort to pay down debt and save up money for a house, I'm trying to get a "second" job as a freelance writer, doing side projects when and where I can. I found a nifty, eBay-ish site called eLance where I can do just that -- bid on projects that people need written, etc. Still figuring out all the how to's (it's not as user friendly as eBay, alas), but if there are any writers out there, you might want to check it out. eLance

I had heard about a similar writer's group back when I worked for Wesleyan University. The man who told me about it has a son who helped found a group of people with limited writing talent who come up with ideas for novels and then outsource them to writers who have no ideas. The son in question was the guy who came up with The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Sweet, I've been looking for something like this, now if there was only an eProofreader. You couldn't pry me off that board. Oh wait I think I've seen this before, you can hire coders to code programs for ya. hmmmmm......
