On behalf of the MRFH team, we're glad to welcome these two aboard -- make them feel at home here, if you'd be so kind!

And for those who saw my bio pictures, the flash doesn't help, but I mostly AM that freakishly pale. (Tanning is bad for you anyway. At least, this is what I prefer to tell myself.)

You have a tortie cat. All of my cats have been torties. Even my dogs would be torties if they weren't brindles. Same colors anyway. Welcome to our new Mutants!!!! Sue

Ha ha. Actually Baby the Tortie/calico is not mine, she is my sister's. My cat Loligo is a gray tiger and she will NOT sit still while being held. Every day when I come home she demands to be picked up, then demands to be put down again AT ONCE. Then she starts purring. She reminds me a lot of Bucky in "Get Fuzzy," which is part of the reason I love that strip.
Baby is clingy. If you pick her up, she sinks her claws into your shoulder to prevent you from putting her down. She purrs if you look at her funny and will sit on any breathing human for hours whether you pet her or not.

Congratulations, Shalen, may your tenure be long and... um... something. Mutanty? Sure, mutanty. Anywho, excellent review!

Congrats, you two! We'll hold off on the nerdy debates for a few weeks so you can get settled in with your new mutant powers.
I trust Justin has put some kind of fence around that vortex in his basement that so many new mutants have disappeared into....

I kinda feel wierd welcoming these two charming, new (and charmingly new) Mutants to the board, what with being a Mini-Mutant (and not that charming either) myself. But hey, it is impolite, especially when they seem to be rather talented, not to welcome them to the site and so I wish them the best.

Yea, what ARE their mutant powers? Do we all have official mutant powers or just the reviewers. Do we have to post a certain amount to get them or do we have to declare them in a special "your mutant powers" thread, do you have to authorize them, can some of us have the same powers if someone grabs a popular one first or do we have to fight over them or what?

Welcome to both of you ladies. (An extra-special welcome to Nancy, who just reviewed L.A. Story, one of my all-time favourite movies!) I look forward to reading your zany reviews! I dunno; I thought we forumites weren't real mutants, and so only the staff had mutant powers. However, if we DO have mutant powers, I call procrastination. It's not really a power, but I'm really good at it.

I don't know about the REST of you, but MY mutant powers are genetic. (See Scherschligt, hopeful monsters, theory of.) I have the power to stop it from raining throughout Eastern Washington for the entire summer.

Mine is telling the future, but only when I don't act on it and/or could do nothing about it anyway. :/ Smaller 2ndary power is knowing that I shouldn't say something before I say it, but always saying it anyway.

Yea, what ARE their mutant powers? Do we all have official mutant powers or just the reviewers. MY mutant powers consist of my innate ability to post unnecessarily long replies that contain a virtual cornucopia of words that are very large and hardly ever used in day-to-day conversation. And I'm double-jointed. On that note: CONGRATS, AND WELCOME, TO THE NEW CHICKS! As long as you don't mind me referring to you guys as the new chicks.

Greetinx to you both. Enjoy your tenure!
I also found it interesting that Nancy chose LA Story as its one of my favourite films too!
