I goofed off and watched Futurama when I should have been studying for my History 12 final, and it paid off. (I had to know who was President when - and I was able to use my knowledge that Truman was in the Roswell episode.)

Whee indeed. Huzzah.
And my own personal happiness is:
Having your armor mod hit over a thousand downloads on tessource (where, paradoxically, it got the most negative feedback).

Happiness is: Watching my daughter run to me when I walk into the room. doing "daddy surfing" on the floor and how loud she laughs when she wipes out. Seeing her giggle when I give her "the claw"

I found out my school's pool is open 6:30-8:30 AM three days a week, when I'd be there normally. I don't even have to wake up earlier!

Taking defeat gracefully.
....
Because it completely knocks the wind out of the sails of the guy trying to rub your face in it. It's a technique I developed from having two older brothers.
Most recently: What can I say, I was supporting the Bears and saw the game with some die-hard Colts fans. Game over, one of them turns to me with a vicious smile and opens his mouth to say something. Nothing came out and I calmly waited. He opened it a couple more times, and I still just looked at him smiling innocently. "You know... you take all the fun out of winning." ;D

Your 1000th post on a great forum. It's a shame I can't think of anything profound to say. Oh well...

Taking an exam and realizing that not only do you know the answers, but that it's due to procrastination! Oh yeah!
