My avatar really adds some extra irony to this post. you know? One would hope. Oh well,. Now that any woman stands me up or ignores the calls, at least I know that she doesn't like me. Better she let me know that she doesn't like me/ finds me not-so-hot when sober, or is still broken hearted after her fella left her and "doesn't want to get into anyhting serious now". If she doesn't like me, I can take a few shots of jack daniels, say "her loss" and keep on moving. Just a little honesty is all I'm asking. I can't tell you how many women I have known who don't want anything serious from me, yet they stayed with a violent, abusive trouser-stain excuse-for-a-man for 3 years and is STILL hurt that he left. I am truly at a loss for words. Maybe I need to treat women like crap. It seems like that is all they respond to. just venting frustration folks. I'm not changing who I am as a person to accomadate ANY woman. I am going to go on being a decent, kind and respectful guy and trying to not get spit upon for it TOO badly. There's a thin line between being a nice guy and being a doormat. And it's possible to be assertive without being an [expletive deleted]hole. I'm not trying to be insulting, but it sounds like you might be pushing the wrong side of that line. |

Much sympathy for both of you...I had to put my "little brother" of 15 years down a few years back because of cancer...gak.
