Holy smokes. Check this out: Star Wars Transformers. This may very well be the culmination of everything I loved from the age of 5 onwards in plastic form. Granted, the "robot" forms of Luke and Obi Wan don't really look like the characters -- at all -- but how friggin' cool does that Vader one look?

Oh good lord I found out about those earlier today, and I couldn't agree more. My favorites are the Vader and the General Greivous, probably because they're both the most robot-looking of the four characters.
Now all they need is a Boba Fett that transforms into Slave 1 and an R2-D2 that turns into a trash can and I'll be set.

I never would've expected myself to be the wet rag in regards to the subject at hand, and yet, here I am.
To these toys, I say. . .eh. I would've rather seen original--or even unoriginal--Transformers characters who just happened to have Star Wars vehicles as their alt-modes (might as well, considering how little Luke and Obi-Wan look like themselves).
Hey, it worked for the Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover comics.

Well, I think they obviously weren't going for a human look on Obi Wan and Luke, they just stylized them as Transformers robots. But that's probably why I could have just the Darth Vader and be happy.
Oh, and Jay, the day they put out an R2D2 trashcan is the day my office is finally complete.
