www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Movies/01/25/chris.penn.obit.ap/index.htmlI always found him to be an enjoyable character actor. And he was in such cult favorites as True Romance (which I'm surprised to see no one has reviewed yet), and Reservoir Dogs. His role in Footloose was one of the favorite linking moves of the inventors of the "6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game.

Wow, since I've never been good with names I never new that Christopher and Sean Penn were brothers. It is a shame to see a good actor pass, especially one that I have seen in many movies. I hope the quote in that article incourages 40 year olds to go see the doctor.

I'm not surprised you didn't realize the connection, because although the Penn brothers share a general family resemblence, they're not carbon copies of each other. There's also another brother who's a musician and married to Aimee Mann. Michael Penn's most famous song is probably "No Myth".

I'm sorry he passed away, but shouldn't everyone see a doctor regularly? Not just... uhm... forty year olds? (Which I'm not. Yet.)
