Just thought you guys (staff and readers alike) would like to have a crack at choosing which movie I cull through to develop the May banner (80's theme).

I'd just like to note that I'm very disappointed that Terminator was not on that list. Or Gremlins. But there are TWO TEEN MOVIES. They're good ones, yes, but still. There's not one single horror flick on this list.

I selected these five based on a long and painstaking search of the best, the elite, the cream of the crops... or whatever were the first five 80's DVDs I read from my shelf.

Another one for Ferris. I was about to complain about the lack of John Hughes, and then I remembered who did Ferris. Smooooth.

What? No one's showing Better off Dead any love? Seems only two of us have picked it. Just imagine the possibilities... like the green slime with raisins crawling off the plate...

I feel I must represent for the few, the proud, the Wolverines of Red Dawn, who gave their lives in service of their country and internet title banners.

Please be sure to include his '69 camaro if you go with Better Off Dead. That would be really neat.
