1) My Big Fat Greek Wedding--the groom to be says he's a vegetarian, and his in-laws offer to make lamb 2) Can't Buy Me Love--the title of the movie, and that song was used in the opening credits (thanks, college roommates, for subjecting me to that awful movie!) 3) There's a roller disco scene in the 3rd Austin Power movie 4) American Pie--need I elaborate? 5) The Cutting Edge--during the training montage, we see the hockey player set his alarm early to beat Moira Kelly's character

1) James and the Giant Peach - Direct quote from the grasshopper "I'm a vegetarian". I guess that helps quell Jame's fear of being eaten.
2)Love Actually - One of the coolest recessionals I've ever seen at a wedding
3)First Kid - There's just something about Sinbad getting beaten up while wearing roller skates and dressed up as a soft drink with a pizza face... it just gets me every time.
4)Austin Powers, TSWSM - Fat Bastard's stool sample "It's a bit nutty"
5) Matrix - The alarm clock goes of after the club sequence even though Neo wakes up a handful of times.

1) Super Size Me - Morgan Spurlock is a vegan before he starts eating McDonald's Is he a vegan also, 'cause I thought it was just his girlfriend? This has nothing to do with the "hunt" I'm just curious.

I'm sure Morgan is a vegan too. There are clips of him eating his girlfriend's food, and they make a big stink at the beginning of the movie about how fit he is, and I'm sure his diet had something to do with that. wow, 3 happened while i was typing mine. This is one popular game you got here Poolman! No kidding! The second round seemed to go by lightning fast, and I got into the third round just by the skin of my teeth.

I love it when a plan comes together! Glad everyone's having fun and bumping each other into the corners... it'll work better this way. List #4 Scores: Lissa walks away with 7 full, luscious points and a break from her kid. Magill gets a full 5 points. Kudos, Magill. Kudos. OogieBoogieMan gets 4 points, because I'm pretty sure Spurlock wasn't a vegetarian when he started, just his girlfriend. Just be glad I didn't dock you another point for saying roller blades instead of roller skates. Call it a half point for each. Storm Rider joins the fray with a good 5 point start. Welcome aboard, Stormy! Big T pulls off a solid 5 as well, and even managed to name the exact alarm clock I had in my head when I asked the question. But no extra points, panda boy. StarOpal was tardy. Heh. Tardy. The standings!Mac & Death: 19 Oogie: 16 StarOpal: 14 Lissa: 13 Big T: 10 Magill: 10 Blinkfan: 6 Spiderdancer: 5 Storm Rider: 5 HeadMutant: 4 Al: 3 And as I count my lucky stars I changed the rules to five items per round instead of the original ten, we move to... List #51) an abnormally large insect (come on Shalen, you can do it) 2) two characters eating ice cream 3) an echo 4) a boat in an strange position 5) cows. COWS! As the French say, "Vas y!".

1) an abnormally large insect (come on Shalen, you can do it)
Men In Black - that really huge roach... thing. C'mon, it counts.
2) two characters eating ice cream
Does Shallow Hal count, since Gwyneth Paltrow pretty much inhaled the shake?
3) an echo
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Jim Carrey remake) - "I'm an idiot!" "You're an idiot!"
4) a boat in an strange position
I can't believe nobody's said Titanic... anyway. Titanic.
5) cows. COWS!
O Brother Where Art Thou - Cows? I hate cows! Babyface Nelson shootin' up the livestock.

1)Mean Girls - because Lindsey Lohan is in it. Ha ha. But seriously, Mimic. Bunches of badly-person-imitating quasi-social cockroaches. And spiders are NOT, repeat, NOT INSECTS. 2) Battle Royale: Beat Takeshi and the innocent girl character eat creamsicles in his requiem dream sequence. 3)Airplane. "Is there an echo in here?" "Is there an echo in here?" 4)Jaws: at least part of a boat ends up inside a shark. 5)Battlefield Earth. John Travolta shoots the legs off a couple of cows.

I remembered the title to the big insect question wrong, Deadly Mantis not Praying Mantis. It's about a giant praying mantis. Just staying on the up and up.
