1) Robin Hood - the Disney version. With the whole fox and chicken metaphor. Or allusion. Or something. 2) Labyrinth - and it's so stimulating being it 3) The Miracle of Morgan's Creek - Trudy Kockenlocker got pregnant by one of seven men but isn't sure who or how in this censorship-battle-induciong 1930s classic 4) Grease 2 - We're gonna score tonight 5) Mortal Kombat: Annihilation - Because I think the sequel is less likely to be used by someone else

1) an arrow through an apple Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Maybe. Who knows. I'm just here for spite, apparently.
2) an unusual hat I've heard a rumor that the Cat in the Hat has an unusual hat. So the legend goes.
3) sex implied but NOT shown Naked Gun 2 1/2's sex scene, complete with film clips of suggested naughtiness metaphors.
4) bowling Kingpin. The whole thing.
5) a videogame character (CAN be a videogame based movie) Mario! And Luigi! Super Mario Bros.! Invincibility stars!

1.) Addam's Family- One of Wednesday and Pugsley's games 2.) Chicken Run- Ginger wears a badmitten birdie (at least for a few moments) as a hat (actually, that's two hats in one miss- for parties, for weddings!) 3.) Moulin Rouge!- no sex shown at all, which is rather remarkable in a movie about prostitutes 4.) Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure- and watch out, because Napolean cheats! 5.) Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

OogieBoogie just wastes all our time with a 3 point reply. Poor showing, really. Left two blank, and substituted a nose for a seashell. Stressed to the point of breaking, I think. Softie. *grumble grumble* Excuse me if I'm not familiar with the history of giant lollipops in movies.

Oh, oh, oh! Could this be it?
The Score! Mac & Death gets 7 points. I'm not quite mean enough to point out that his fox/chicken thing fails to mention anything about an apple or arrow, but then I'm not dumb enough to not think there's a pierced apple in a Robin Hood movie. StarOpal gets 5 points, and probably smacks herself silly in the forehead for not posting first. Head Mutant rolls out of bed, updates the MRFH, and grabs 5 points before scratching and returning to his slumber. Lissa puts out a solid final 5. Nicely play, m'lass! Storm Rider nabs 4 points, for not deciding between Shrek and its sequel, but he's pretty much right.
Which means we have a winner! Congratulations go to...
Mac & D earns the elusive title of first Mutant Scavenger Hunt Champion, or whatever the hell I called it way back on the first page. He gets a sash, a tiara, and the right to brag in his sig line. Well played, sir!
Here's The Final Standings for Round One: Mac & Death: 51 StarOpal: 46 OogieBoogie: 32 Lissa: 28 Blinkfan: 21 Storm Rider: 18 Magill: 17 Spiderdancer: 15 Al: 13 Big T: 10 Head Mutant: 9 Lonestarr: 7 Ms Jellybean: 5
Congrats to everyone, particularly StarOpal, who finally read the rules just in time to make it an exciting race to the finish. Well played!
So here ends Round One. I'm calling it that under the assumption that you guys would like to play more in the future. Would this be the case? Sound off here! Also, suggestions for rules, scoring, etc can be listed here. Maybe we can make it even more complicated for Round Two?

Well I for one had a great time, even with the Canadian dictatorship being involved. I'd love to play again.
Mac and Death was just too fast... and too able to follow the rules for me (Rules? Pfft!). Well played, sir.
Oh, sure. More complicated. Great....

Everyone loves an underdog, StarOpal.
I'd like to thank myself for being repellent enough to never have plans and therefore be able to check this site fairly often. Although I am going on vacation from May 31-June 6, so if Round Two starts soon, I may have to take a bye.

I definitely want to see a round 2, maybe allowing more than 5 people per try would be nice. Then maybe I could get in more than two rounds. But please oh game master Poolman, let us play on!

The problem with having more than 5 people play at once is it would take forever to do the score posts, and I really am doing most of this from work. We'll see...

I think this game needs to take place during the school year. Until I figure out how to access the net from my cash register at work, I am so hooped. But I enjoy playing in my mind as I scan past everyone else's answers! Seriously, I'm a trivia freak. This is really fun.

I believe this will become a staple of the MRFH Forums from now on, it's a great idea and very fun to participate. Darn the 7 hour diference, it made me miss out on some of the lists, darn my geographic position.
Congrats to Mac and Death(and thank you once again for using the sequel) for winning this most coveted title of nobleship, and to all the other players, I know we'll all be aiming for the podium next round. When is the next round schedueled anyway? The sooner the better I say.
I don't think the rules need any more aditional tweaking, the number of players is indeed rather small, but I understand our Master Hunter PoolMan it would be rather time consuming for one person to manage more than 5 players.
I hope the next round will be announced at least 24 hours before it starts so we can all get in gear.
