Hello all, I- more years ago than I care to remember- was a staff writer for the Mutant Reviewers From Hell. I've had a few years of barely watching films at all, and all sorts of fun life stuff, but being introduced to Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (I'm a Brit and we never got it) has rekindled my love for all things movie-related, and more specifically bad-movie-related.
So hello again, after...well, more than 5 years. The site looks great and I'm looking forward to posting in the forum.
Right, I'm off to watch "Manos: The Hands Of Fate" for the third time...

Well, nice to meet you, guy! As a new(er) Mutant, let me be the first to say hello! Look forward to seeing you around the forum, and good to meet you. (Tell us, what WAS Justin like in the wild, untamed days?)

"But the girl will be a woman one day! Manos likes women!"
Happy returns of whatever day it currently is. I recently heard it is National Accordion Awareness Month here in the US.

When I was a reviewer, the site only had about 20 films on it, and the main piece of film love was for "P.C.U.", which had its own special site if memory serves. I just bought PCU the other day on DVD (known in the UK as "Politically Correct Party Animals", for some reason best known only to a few) and it got me thinking about this place again...so here I am. Just reading the main site, I noticed this: "I admit, the early attempts to hire on MRFH correspondants proved a bit disasterous. Mostly on my part, since I was a little overeager to get more reviews posted, and didn't interview as well as I should have. So then passed a period of time that, save for a couple of pretty goshdarned good writers, MRFH sank into the depths of mediocrity".

How ironic that you would write for MRFH and then Rich would after you without either of you knowing. Chesterfield is like Sunnydale, only with less vampires and demons, not being in America and not actually being anything like it. In fact they only thing they have in common is that they as real as one another

Mediocrity didn't include you, I'm sure. I think he meant me.

I live about 5 minutes walk from DTH and this is the most communication we've had in about a week, although I'm looking forward to taking his money* at the poker game at the weekend. Give me a call and let's do some Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and pizza and stuff. I almost have a birthday present for you too!
*I suck at poker. I'll almost certainly lose.

Meh. Probably myself too; I was never very proud of my reviews from the first couple years, but oh well, gotta start somewhere. I have no regrets how the site's developed, we've learned along the way and continued to improve, and that's not a bad thing.

Which old Mutant is this? I have noticed that there are a few if retired Mutants Not on the Memorial Page. Namley The guy who Reviewed EraserHead. I think it was Ted. I also recall a Mark, I think I am mistaken.

I am and was Mark. I think I reviewed 7 or 8 films before the lack of a computer, any money or time stopped me from doing so.
I love DTH, in a brotherly way. He is my main man.

Doesn't it give you a warm fuzzy feeling when old faces flit by? ;D
