The first or second bowl of Lucky Charms?
I say second. It does make you sick, but it also as the underlying taste of "I like this food so much, I'm having TWO bowls!"

I'd say the first bowl. Especially when you first wake up and think about whether or not to have a bowl of Lucky Charms, so by the time you decide to have some, it tastes even better for the wait.

Taking all the marshmallows OUT of the lucky charms, then putting them IN a bowl of coco puffs.

Taking all the marshmallows OUT of the lucky charms, then putting them IN a bowl of coco puffs. Why bother when they actually make Chocolate Lucky Charms now? *teeth fall out just thinking about it* I dunno... while I can't live without my sugary cereal in the morning, I'm trying recently to be vaguely healthier by sticking with Frosted Flakes and Honey Nut Cheerios and such, rather than stuff that has actual marshmallows in it. I'm sure the only actual difference in nutritional value is in my mind, but so be it- I feel better, anyway. -D

What's better, the first bowl of Cap'n Crunch, or the loose, hanging flesh dangling from the roof of your mouth after you eat it?

I only really eat Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, Nestlé Nut Clusters and Raisin Wheats. Mmmm, I love those Raisin Wheats...yet everyone always goes "Ewwww"

Why bother when they actually make Chocolate Lucky Charms now? I always have a box of that stuff at my apartment. It's great! Me loves it. And I say the first bowl is always better.

Economic theory would agree with the idea that the first bowl is always best. Otherwise known as "the law of diminishing marginal returns"

Yep. Diminishing marginal returns. I myself was fond of Cookie Crisp back when it was possible to get it where I live. We used to buy generic everything so what we got was "Magic Stars."
It actually had more marshmallows than Lucky Charms. Plus it had a cartoon wizard on it who looked like he had made a lateral career move from a fantasy RPG. Good times.

Wait...wait... you mean the bits that aren't marshmallows are actually edible? I thought they were part of the packaging.

I resent the way this conversation has gone. Lucky Charms are a whole entity, a yin to a yang and what not.

I resent that they try to trick us into eating those semi-edible brown sawdust leavings that wallow in the space between the little sugar heaven-packets. Rescuing them and introducing them to coco puffs -- which contain nary an element of healthy living -- was what got me through sophomore year in college.

I was never a Lucky Charms man, myself. Always liked Froot Loops more. But, man, I knew the entire Lucky charms commercial jingle archive by heart.

I never liked marshmallows, so I guess the first bowl. ... I was a strange kid.
