i almost thought that i might not make it this year, based on being like broke and just having so much other real-life stuff to deal with.

but, how could i not go? whenever i think to myself "gee, it's kind of like the same every year" i then think "well, the people who are too far and truly too broke to ever get to it would probably eat my spleen to get the chance to go, so i should realize how lucky i am and just HAVE FUN WITH IT."

so i will. hooray! if you're there, let's meet for lunch!

I really want to go to that, mostly to meet Maddox, but alas I live on the other side of the country. If I went there I could meet almost all the people I admire. I don't think I would ever want to leave.
