I tried, for the love of god I've tried! Twice I was denied as I was typing out my answer. Time to pull out the big guns and send some hired goons StarOpals way ;D I think a slight contest rules modification might be in order. How about choosing a letter and forbidding that letter to be included in the film title? Maybe that will help slow down Star Opal

Or will PoolMan start getting up in the middle of the night just to be SURE he's not posting at a time convenient to people in his own time zone? (answer: hell no) Like that would stop me? I think I've become psychically connected to this contest. And PoolMan, Lordmoon, everyone - I love you too! (now watch, just cause I said that, I'll tail spin out of control and come in last...)

1) there's something about mary - the fight with the dog 2) Dog Soldiers - all the soldiers have dog tags 3) Shrek - "Magic Mirror: [about Snow White] She lives with seven men, but she's not easy. " taken from MRFH 4) Labryinth - the fire creatures (i think thats what they're meant to be) that throw their heads around to eachother. 5) Bend it like Beckham - based around womens football (or soccer for the uneducated types) By the way I did this while inebriated so exscuse any spelling errors.

1- Monty Python and the Holy Grail; various cats being randomly swung into walls by peasants 2- X-Men; Wolverine's dog tags (the ones Rogue points out) 3- Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit; "may contain nuts" 4- Domino; there's a severed arm that gets tossed around a bit. 5- Isn't there an Air Bud movie where the dog plays soccer? I'll say that.

I know I'm late, but hey, it's Thanksgiving! I haven't been able to get in on any of these yet, and I had to answer #3 ("adult humour in a movie intended for kids (be very specific)"). I was in the video store the other day and they had that CGI kid's movie Monster House playing. They're in the house's mouth (don't ask me how) and the girl looks up and sees the uvula swinging around and says, "Look, it's got an uvula!" Then there's a beat and the boy says, "Ohhhhhhhh . . . so it's a girl house!" I just about lost it. As for the first question, I'm surprised no one mentioned Jack Black drop-kicking Ron Burgundy's dog Baxter. "You're so wise. You're like a miniature Buddha covered in hair."

You know what's funny? I thought up an answer to four when I went to bed at 3:00 am. Six hours later. Is that obsessive?
Big Easy - They throw around a toupee in the police station.
