Well, after about four more complete OS installs, I'm FINALLY nearing having a functional machine again. Honestly, this is ridiculous. I've been at this for two weeks, and it's been problem after problem. Looks like I've finally weeded out what software caused me to have to reinstall Win2K (yep, switching back) twice this morning.

I swear, I hate computers. I've literally been fighting the urge to swing the keyboard at the monitor for HOURS now.

Oh well. Continued Mad Propz Yo to Darth Madler, who is the bomb at this stuff. I'm pretty sure he's a Lvl 23 Computermancer by now (earned a lot of experience points this week).

Everything's been stable for about a week (yep, the problems just kept coming for a while). Don't know when I'll do this, but dang it, I've got to try!
