Awww. Shucks. Yer making me feel all warm anf fuzzy inside..and other emotions that are strange and..deeply confusing.


So, what have I been up to?

I finally got rid of my wallet-draining wunderlust, one too many pensiones with cold floors and prayer-inducing elevators cured me of that.

I am offically a cartoonist (I was even in the New Yorker! Twice! Sure they haven't bought anything in over a year, but I'm still important! A star!) But this kooky Dr. Sketchy's side project has grown to TAKE OVER MY LIFE. Designing and helping write a 208 page book in 2 months is a crash course in everything. Mostly in how to make speed using only expresso and nodoz.

I also perform burlesque, not so shocking since, now after much gym going, I have something almost resembling a chest. Still, keep your pants on, I am the comic straight man to the sexy girls. We have a Tea For Two number that will knock your socks off, assuming you wear socks.

I am so glad I work in a subculture where I can say "Ms. Astrid! Lady Satan needs you to help Ms. Saturn with her glitter" It's like being an intern to the Justice League.

and Netflix has ruined me for both TV and movies. DAMN YOU TECHNOLOGY!
