Truly a shame. Probably best known as Raymond's dad, but to me he'll always be Frankenstein's Monster. Puttin' on the Ritz. Rest in peace, Peter. In entirely unrelated news (but I didn't want to start a new thread), Martin Nodell -- creator of Green Lantern and the Pillsbury Doughboy -- died earlier this week as well. RIP, Martin. Peter Boyle was great. He is really going to be missed.
As for Martin, he was so in love with the comics he created that he died in spiderman PJs and was creamated in a green lantern t shirt, which is just awe-inspiring to me.

Alright this just bummed me out. Despite the fact I loathed Everybody loves Raymond, he was amazing in the Uber cult film Joe and of course Young Frankenstein. R.I.P

He was also in a great early episode of the X-Files, the first time I ever saw him. Good guy. Got better as he aged.

That's so sad.
The Dream Team is my personal favorite Peter Boyle part and X-Files comes a close second.
