I don't know WHERE a thread such as this one would go, but I'm assuming that there are bound to be computer geeks occupying the MRFH forums. And I just thought I'd muse aloud about Ubuntu, which is my new operating system.
Actually, I'd just like to discuss operating systems in general. If anyone's up for it. I'm definitely a fan of open source software, and Ubuntu is a fairly good Linux distro. This also seems kinda relevant, as Windows Vista has just come out and the reawakened geek in me (reawakened because I haven't extensively talked computers for the longest time) wants to talk nerdy.
