Douglas Adams: Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Too bad we don't list any quotes under the movies we review, otherwise you'd be set.

I've used both these quotes, one on my college application, and the other in my college yearbook:
"Somehow it seems to fill my head with ideas — only I don't exactly know what they are!" — Alice, in "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll
"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by." — Douglas Adams
Jen (Not very profound, but meaningful to me.)

As anyone who has seen me on MSN Messenger over the last month will be able to attest to, this is one of my all time favourite quotes:
"I have of late, though where I know not, lost all my mirth, forsaken all practices, and indeed it goes so heavily with me that this goodly frame the earth seems nothing more than a sterile promentary. And this wonder of the air, this brave o'erhanging firmament fretted with golden fire? Why it seem naught to me but a foul and pestilential collection of vapours. What a peice of work is man; how noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, in form and moving how express and admirable; in action how like an Angel; in apprehension how like a God. The wonder of the world, the paragon of animals; yet to me...what is this quintessence of dust?"
Quoted from memory, so I'm sure there are some inaccuracies in there. You'll get top kudos if you manage to get that next to your yearbook photo though.
