Did anyone else pick this up yesterday? I sure did, and after surprisingly little resistance from the wife (of course, it was on sale at Walmart...though I loath to buy anything from there). I haven't seen the film since the first time I saw it in theaters, about two weeks after the opening, and I was surprised by the rewatchability of the movie itself. I mean, back then I spent the whole movie trying to figure out what the heck is going on, and this time I was just able to sit and enjoy the ballet of constant violence and nifty visuals, and leave my brain back in the kitchen so it could do something more useful, like the dishes.
However, I am a bit dissapointed that between two dvd discs of reloaded, they don't seem to fit in half as much special feature goodness as with the first Matrix dvd. Instead you get a couple of behind the scenes documentaries (which are very cool, nonetheless) and Justin Timberlake and Stifler doing a reloaded parody for the opening of the MTV Movie Awards. And yes, I feel violated that my Matrix has been corrupted by Justin Timberlake. So what do y'all think about it?

You made your wife do the dishes? Dude, that's harsh.

No, my brain. My brain was left in the kitchen to do the dishes, not my wife...hey - I think this is some kind of ruse...you're messing with me! Right? I'm more confused now than the first time I watched Reloaded...
And anyway, my wife doesn't work anymore, so she always does the dishes. It's a philipino thing...compulsive dishwashing. Ask your teacher.

Special Note: Two weeks and counting until baby arrival... Hey Jay, I meant to say that although I'm sure you are and will be quite busy with this, I hope you'll find the time to share the details of the happy day with the Forum here when the bambino arrives! Can't wait to hear the good news! (Yep, I'm a sucker for babies, just ask my girl...)
