OK folks, we're into Oscar lane now. Coming up will be a decent mix of Oscar-begging material, family entertainment and epic motion pictures. What do you think will be worth your entertainment dollar this fall & winter? Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing: - The Matrix Revolutions
- Elf
- LOTR: Return of the King
- Love, Actually
- The Cooler
- maybe The Alamo
Is it just me, or does this winter seem more loaded than normal?

I need to bring myself up to speed. I know I'll see Matrix Revolutions, even though I wasn't too into Reloaded, just cause I'm hoping Reloaded suffers from middle child syndrome. And naturally I'll see Return of the King, probably multiple times.
If I'm really feeling chick-flicky I'll go see Cold Mountain (or if my Renee loving hubby drags me....)
I know there's more, but my mind has shut down.

I'll see Revolutions and probably RotK, but probably only once apiece.
In fact, I've only watched any LotR movies once.
The Alamo sounds promising, but then, if it's "history" like some other flicks have been, I'll blow it off so fast my own head will spin.

The WHAT!?
Dear God. I hadn't heard.
BDC, since there's little to no record of anything that happened inside the Alamo, I'm quite sure it will be rife with "history."
Billy Bob Thornton and Marc Blucas. Crockett and Bonham. That's not right. At least Dennis Quaid grew up in Houston, so I guess he can play Houston.
