I don't think Denethor took the leap...I seem to recall the mental image of him just burning in the mausoleum.
Portrait credits? Missed that. I shouldn't have run out so quick...and I was already the last out of the theater. With the first line of text in the credits everyone got up and ran out.
The orb thing was called the Palantir. As soon as I saw it on an ad I yelled "Yes! The Palantir!" My non-nerd friends in the room weren't very happy for my joy. Jackasses.

or it was Palanthir? and I didnt like that they did not explain the madness of Denethor being linked to "too much Palanthir chat with Sauron ".

Did you happen to forget when Gandalf first confronted him, he revealed that he already knew very much and stated "I have my sources"?
A little sidenote here, I suggest that we make "penis fish" the Official In-Joke of the MRFH forums, and that we place the term in at least one message on EVERY thread. Mostly because the thought still makes me roll on the floor with laughter every time I remember Justin's first comment "No penis fish for Justin, nosiree" or something like that. ;D
-"Uhhuhuhuh-huh penis fish. Uhhuhuhuh-huh"

I have that phrase on my AIM profile. It helps that my name is also Justin.

You guys are forgetting the Golden Rule of Humour: Thou Shalt Not Force a Joke. No matter how often we do it at the MRFH, you can't SAY "let's make this our in-joke", cause then it's just forced.
Let the urethra-devouring fish come to YOU.

I'm so bad at this. Anyway, it was the one saying that you think you're deep, but you're not, which describes me pretty well in high school.
And I've finally figured out that that's Merry in the front in that picture. Go me!

I've resisted "overwatching" the LOTR films -- I saw the FOTR twice in theaters and once through on DVD -- but I went back to Fellowship's extended edition today and was amazed how much more I got out of it, having the connections to the second and third films established. Plus, in my advanced age, I had simply forgotten a lot of the little details.

I've seen all three movies three times in theaters, and I've lost track of how many times I've seen Fellowship's EE on DVD. I've watched Two Towers' EE once.
AND I CRAVE MORE.

So far I've seen each movie once in theaters, but I own the EEs. I watched Fellowship like 5 times and TT twice.

You don't do things on purpose, so people tend to cut you some slack. Still, it would be best if you stopped doing things all together.Al -heh
