Add one more movie to my, "I haven't seen it, but I'm sure it's going to suck." list. It's not that I have anything against action flicks, I just think my ideal movie niche lies somewhere between "pretentious, blue-lit art film," and "mindless dialogue-free xtreme-fest."
Then again, I don't inhabit the very lucrative and much pandered-to 17.5-18 demographic. Maybe they actually like this sort of thing.
I leave you with a sample of actual dialogue heard in the commercial:
Biker Babe 1: "You messed with the wrong chicks!"
Biker Babe 2: "Looks like you did."
Astounding. It'd be interesting to see how this scene resolves itself:
BB1: "No, you!"
BB2: "You!"
BB1: "You're a banana head!"
BB2: "No, you are!" etc. etc.

Feh, I put this movie in the same category as I put The Fast and the Furious and its sequel (as well as Rollerball, no, not the kickass original with James Caan, I'm talking the pointless should-have-never-been-mande one with LL Cool J).
That category being the "I Find Car Chases Boring and Since This Movie is Entirely Based on Car Chases, I Will Never See It" category. (Slight reference here to the "Sub-Genre" thread in the "Music and Books" Category of the forum.
And now back to your regularly scheduled insanity. ;D

*Channels the spirit of David Spade* Torque comes out soon. I like the look of this movie. I liked it even better the first time I saw it, and it was called Biker BoyzSadly, for every interesting-looking film coming out (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill vol II, Godsend), there seems to be 2 or 3 really horrid looking releases (Barbershop 2, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, The Prince and Me, Scooby-Doo 2, The Whole Ten Yards, Chasing Liberty). You know, looking at that list of horrid looking releases, there's definately a trend. Oh, and did anyone else see the title "The Big Bounce" and wonder why they made a sequel to that movie? Of course, I've since seen the trailer and now know the truth. But it was a funny thought.

Two other movies that seem bad from the previews:
Along Came Polly: Ben Stiller in a one note character (he's a paranoid insurance guy! It's funny!), engaging in hilarious romantic hijinks! What fun
This movie that I can't remember: From what I could tell from the trailer, it's a cross between 8 Mile and tFatF, only with break dancing replacing the rap and cars. Blech.
