i know this isnt the best grammar, sorry dont have time to proof read.
i saw the trailors for dreamcatcher and they made the movie look like total trash. and i read your review and it also made the movie look like total trash. and so im guessing theres prolly other people that thought it was total trash that never saw it.
by the reviews and trailors it looks like some piece of crap survival horror in a cabin / alien / who is the alien movie. but i just got done watching it last night and i couldnt even tear my eyes off it for a second and well it wasnt even remotly scary... oooooorrrr i dont know how it could be sci-fi/"horror" at all which's what they claim on the box.
point is, between the trailor, you guys, and even its own box none of those things even remotly do the movie justice. is it some kind of conspiracy? i really really liked the movie. i'd go into detail but i dont really have a lot of time and well.... i just woke up anyway...... so what do other people that've seen it think?

Yes. It is a conspiracy. The film studios came to me one day and waved a bundle of cash under my nose, if I trashed the film on a niche, cult movie review site. Return to your normal life, citizen, there's nothing to see here.

sorry i was sorta tired when i wrote that, but i mean..... did you guys like the movie at all? i've seen a heck of a lot worse movies. and i mean ...... i dunno.. its sorta hard to explain but.... i liked it and i wasnt trying to slam anyone. its just that i really respect your guyses reviews and stuff and i dunno..... you guys are always right on the money and we always see eye to eye when it comes to movies. its hard to explain what i'm tryin to say for some reason why didnt you like dreamcatcher? anyone? i really liked it.

You're certainly entitled to like it, and we don't think any less of you for it. Everyone likes certain movies that most people hate, and vice versa. I just found the conspiracy theory funny.

Even the actors don't like it...
Jason Lee was heard to have said on set... "I don't wanna see this!"

For the record (I say that way too often considering no one is keeping record) I really enjoyed Dreamcatcher.

I really enjoyed the first half, but once they brought the military in and really began to deviate from the book, it sort of descended into mindlessness. Not completely unenjoyable mindlessness, but sorta stupifying nonetheless.

i dont know what it was. it just had me hooked so bad. not many movies do that. course i was hoping for morgan freeman to bust into some matrix moves on the aliens but it never happened =( but i mean it was surprisingly enjoyable. it just had that edge to it that i like in an alien movie.
remotly believable but not rediciliously over the top. a weird person or persons throughout the movie with some sort of special gift. really strong weird aliens that you do things that you dont really understand.
but i'll have to agree with the army thing. the army thing in x-men2 was really icky too in my opinion. just my 2 cents though i wasnt tryin to slam anyone or act weird. im new here ya know it always takes a bit to get adjusted to new people in new forums =)
