Cannibalism in a Humanitarian Nation???

I've joined the JenniferGovernment game NationStates (http://www.nationstates.com) at the suggestion of Justin. It's a wonderful game, but I seem to have come across a problem. Since I created a nation of Humanitarians, I set the nation's animal as being the Homo Sapien. And now look what I've gotten myself into!

The Issue

In a bid to provide a new revenue stream for Philotic Humanitarians's Beef-Based Agriculture industry, it has been suggested that homo sapiens could be added to the menu.
The Debate
"The fact is, the homo sapien population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Fleur Nagasawa. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks? We could have homo sapien kebabs, homo sapien pies, homo sapien-on-a-sticks--the possibilities are endless! Let's not pass up this golden opportunity to provide a feast, if you will, for our economy."

"I agree that something needs to be done about homo sapien over-population," says random passer-by Beth Fellow, "but eating them? That's kind of gross. Let's just shoot the ones we have to and shovel their bodies into ditches like normal."

"I am shocked and appalled!" declared SPCA President Peggy Falopian. "If anyone needs to be culled, it's us humans. The homo sapiens were here first, remember? We need to take this as a sign to get our industry--agriculture in particular--to back off. The homo sapien is part of what makes Philotic Humanitarians a great nation!"

The book the website's based off of, Jennifer Government, is actually pretty good. I'm about halfway done with it.

Ya know, I used to play NationStates but I got really bored of it after a while. I kept getting the same things and eventually it felt like nothing really was going on. So I just stopped doing it.

That link to NationStates doesn't work. It leads to some commercial site with a lot of ads on it. *does a Google search* Ah kay, the link is www.nationstates.net. Good, I wanted to find out what this game was like.

As for the cannibalism thing: yum, homo-sapien-on-a-stick. ;D Kidding. But the way that worked out is really funny.
