I just got back from a sneak preview of "The Girl Next Door" and it was effing brilliant. I'm right in the target market group for the movie, but still, I think there's definitely something there for a larger audience. It was absolutely hilarious, the audience loved it. The soundtrack was kickarse. The cast was kind of full of lesser known people, but they should hit the big time after this, cuz they were all excellent. It just...I'm going to stop because it's too soon after seeing it and I'm gonna keep going with the superlatives. But it is a genuinely smart, funny, and surprisingly dark teen comedy. Somebody finally did it right.
