Many of you may (or may not) remember the 1982 cartoon epic.... The Last Unicorn. According to my little sister they are now making a version of the film with, get this, REAL LIVE PEOPLE. Unfortunately my sister cannot find who will be portraying the protagonists. I told her that if anyone would know it would be the movie aficionados at Mutant Reviewers.com!

C'Mon, people, imdb.com ring a bell? us.imdb.com/title/tt0314301/fullcreditsI'm not familiar with the story so I couldn't tell you which of those are human and which are just voices. Looks like a decent cast, though. |

Slightly off topic but: Christopher Lee is still alive and making movies? He's 82 for crying out loud. He should probably retire before he drops dead like Bruce Lee....Or Brandon Lee... (anyone notice a weird pattern I just made?)  *ahem* anyway, I'm interested in this movie, though it doesn't look like it will be out for awhile. |

Supposedly it's going to be out for late 2004, but as far as the news I've seen on it they are still working on pre-production. They haven't even cast Lady Amalthea. Yeah, I checked Imdb.com but they hadn't listed the two main characters...that's why I posted here.
I think it's supposed to be released at the end of 2005 according to the main site.

Hey Sis, thanks for posting.
To those who don't know the story, it's practically my favorite fantasy book ever. You should definitely check it out.
Those of you who are familiar with the story, I'd like to know who you think would make an effective Amalthea, and/or Prince Lir. Thanks.
