Hey guys and gals,
It's been a bit of a strange couple of weeks for me, dealing with quite a few issues and problems some of my teens have been going through. Last weekend, a student at a local school hung himself, and that's impacted a lot of his friends and even just people in the same age range. As with any time that I hear about a suicide, it always strikes me how sometimes these people reach out and no one reaches back, and sometimes they never reach at all... and help could've been there if they only asked.
Anyway, this is just to say that if you need someone to talk to, I'm here, and this forum's here. I think one of the worst feelings in the world is thinking that you're totally alone, that no one gives a crap... and that's not true. This forum is full of people who aren't here to just flame you or blow you off, and neither am I.
So please, if there is some problem in your life you just need to talk out or else you'll end up doing something irrevocably stupid, choose to reach out to us instead. If it's nothing more than just listening to something you have to say and get off your chest, and then keeping you in our thoughts and prayers, then that would be a blessing to be able to help you in that way.
