New Years Resolution Thread for March Reporting in.
This month, in order to win not only my unending love and affection, but also the chance to dictate to me a film I will review this month, your challenge is the following.
Because I'm feeling whimsical, your challenge is to send me (via email to five_mile_smile@hotmail.com) your best MSPaint pictures of one of a scene from any movie I've previously reviewed. The best one gets to pick the movie for the month, and I'll post all the entries in this thread as well. Since its a bit more of a creative competition this time, I'll give you all until next Sunday night to get your entries in.
- Rich ps I will post an example of the quality of art I want below after I've finished scribbling.

Here's the example I promised; I think it conveys all the majesty and tension of the original scene. - Rich ya ya

I don't suppose you happen to have a list handy of all the movies you've reviewed? I was kind of poking around the review page looking for them all, but I'm kind of stabbing in the dark.

If the search function feels like working today, just go to the Findaflik page, scroll down and click on "Rich's reviews".

Now does it have to be a scene from the actual movie, or can it be a 'scene' from your review of said movie?

I submitted one that took some liberties with the movie. It was also kind of offensive so I'm not sure if it'll end up getting posted here.

Is mspaint part of the requirement, making the task that much more challenging?

Is mspaint part of the requirement, making the task that much more challenging? Absolutely. I don't want anyone to gain an advantage just because they have PSP or Photoshop or some other magical art package installed. MSPaint is the protalitarian option. - Rich

Couldn't tell if it was a finger slip or you were trying to make a funny.

Protalitarian is where everyone does takes the most basic and practical approach available to all equally BECAUSE I TELL THEM TO.
- Rich I can make my own words up if I want to

I call them "Lissaisms". Nothing like making up a word, to describe the process of making up words ;D

Then wouldn't what you just said be a "duckieism?"

I'm sorry, but I think there are already WAY too many "ism"s in the world today.... let's just call it creative new words that are created by one person and shared by everyone thereafter. Wait, is that too long? Oh well.... as long as I never see "ism" ever ag- argh! I said the word again! Argh!
