I've really been tying to limit my purchases recently, since I have two dozen or so movies and tv show seasons I own and haven't watched yet, but a few weeks ago I finally picked up Volume 4 of the James Boind Ultimate Collection. I also snagged Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story and Eddie Murphy: Delirious, which isn't quite as funny as I recall, but I'm still happy to have it.
One I was really looking forward to owning and passed on: Borat. When I got to the store, I looked at the package and it just screamed "We're releasing a way better edition next year!" so I saved my money for Casino Royale.

I buy very few movies since Netflix is my friend, but yesterday I noticed Galaxy Quest at Wally World for five bucks and brought it home.

Let's see. There's an FYE in the shopping center behind the grocery store where I work, which makes it very hard to NOT go over there and browse whenever I have money on me. (And it's not like grocery stores don't have vidoes and DVDs, too, and sometimes they'll have rare 80s cartoon videos hiding on dusty shelves.
The used section at the FYE is MY friend. I picked up the 2-disc original "Empire Strikes Back" for about $11 and the out-of-print 2-disc Special Edition for the Disney "Sleeping Beauty" for $16. I've also picked up "Clash of the Titans" for my sister's birthday next month (she's the fantasy nut - I personally think that movie is awful), and the Warner Bros release of "Supergirl" for me (if I'm gonna go with an awful movie, let's at least let it be Super-powered, with no one in togas.)

Just got Borat and The Departed. Also, my mom bought the new 2-disc Peter Pan because my family is made up of Disney nuts. Am now saving up for a platinum edition of Rebel Without a Cause so I no longer have to wait for AMC to show it.

That's what I thought when I bought Pirates 2. And yes, I bought the special edition. I guess they're waiting to release a super fantastic 3-movie box set.

I've been financially tight lately so I've been limiting myself... And it's killing me. That said:
Preordered Casino Royale Picked up Pride and Prejudice on the cheap. Same on Airplane! on DVD

StarOpal: which version of P&P?
I got a Best Buy gift card for my b-day and narrowing my choices down to one DVD is really hard. That said, I think I'm going to suck it up and wait for Casino Royale tomorrow. But I still unbelievably haven't purchased Shaun of the Dead, or Bon Cop Bad Cop - argh!

The Matthew Macfadyen and Keira Knightley one. I already had the Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle one.

My aunt bought Casino Royale, so I didn't. I did, however, finally buy both The Apartment (Lemmon-tastic!) and Shaun of the Dead. Next on the list is Toy Story 1 & 2.
