Maybe not dubious, but certainly unwatchable, is a recent ad for Burger King:
"Where's Dad?"
"He's outside playing with his Wii toy."
"Bees!"
"Wii?"
"Bees!"
"Wii?"
If my kids were that stupid, they wouldn't be allowed out of the house, not even for school. (If they can't tell the difference between 'bee' and 'Wii', I sincerely doubt that school would be a wise investment.)

I've been cable-free for almost six months now, watching TV entirely on rapid share, sometimes hulu, and sometimes on-demand at other people's houses. That means almost... no... commercials. Suddenly the world isn't seeming quite so bleak. Also, two radio stations have recently axed ALL their DJs and gone completely CNC.
I almost smiled.
