Sorry to hear that, Al. I may still check it out some time. I'm thoroughly enjoying Bioshock, but I'm having trouble taking down a Big Daddy at the moment and it has really halted my gameplay, as I don't want to go on until I save the Little Sister.
So...there's been a movie in the works. I generally steer clear of video-game-to-movie situations, but I just might check this out if it ever gets made.
Speaking of Will It Ever Get Made....they've moved back the release of Bioshock 2? *sigh* Oh well...gives me more time to finish the first one, I guess.

I really, really liked the fact that the Daddies were (at least, in the beginning of the game) very tough to take down. They were largely willing to ignore you if you didn't do anything stupid, but aggravate one and you had a really good fight on your hands. I remember more than once sizing up a still-peaceful Daddy and wondering whether I was actually in good enough shape to take it on.

So how about a show of hands: Who's a Harvester and who's a Rescuer? I'm a Rescuer. EDIT: Well poo. Now that I've finished the game and therefore unafraid to read all the posts in this thread I see my question was answered oh, around a year ago!
