There's a guild of female gnomes in World of Warcraft I read about called "My Little Pwnies". I also liked the name of the gnome guild "Gnomercy".

Greatest WoW guild name: "Grand Theft Ugly Kodo"
But I just bought the new Tool album, I don't buy much music these days but that one's great- they made an effort with the packaging and stuff.

Actually got a few brilliant CDs lately... Neko Case's "Fox Confessor Brings the Flood," the Decemberists' "Her Majesty," and the Raconteurs' "Broken Boy Soldiers."
I hate to say it, being a White Stripes purist, but Jack White sounds spectacular with a full band backing him.

Most recently, I bought "The Conet Project" which is a 4 disc collection of recordings of "numbers stations" on shortwave radio. They're little snippets of music, tones, and seemingly random words and numbers (sometimes all in the same broadcast) that are thought to have something to do with spying. I don't know why I got it--on vacation, I stopped in a record store that claimed to have sold more copies than any other store and it had me intrigued.
Shortly before that, I got "Boneclouds" by Mason Jennings, "Leaders of the Free World" by Elbow, the "New English EP" by Ambulance LTD, and "Eyes Open" by Snow Patrol. My boyfriend purchased "St. Elsewhere" by Gnarles Barkley, "Ammunition" by Tim Easton, and the Raconteurs at about the same time.

Picked up a couple albums today. Kiss' "Revenge", which I'm listening to right now, is really good, and redeems them from their attempts at hair metal in the 80s.
Next up is the other CD I bought, Sweatshop Union's "United We Fall", the second rap album in my collection (not including the Eminem Show, which I gave away).

Heck yes Nine inch nails,Korn and Perfect Circle.Excellent choices. Trent Rezner is simply amazing. That Perfect Circle album is sublime ("Magdalena" being the stand out track for me). My brother is like the king of Emo/American College Rock (I'm talking "My Chemical Romance", "Die Romance", "Yellowcard", "Gin Blossoms", "50ft Dolls" and "Dashboard Confessional"...) and has loaned me a lot of his stuff. Most of it sounds the same to me (having said that, he says the same about the metal in my collection, so its horses for courses, really) but I must admit to quite enjoying "Fallout Boy". Plus, "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional is a corking song. My bro has given a lot of live tracks and some songs where Michael Stipe of R.E.M. is guest vocalist which is cool. I used to be a massive R.E.M. fan, however, "Reveal" wasn't that hot to me and so I never picked up the most recent album :/ Anyone give me a review of it?

Bought the Decemberists' "Picaresque" and Neil Young's "Greatest Hits." Yay.
Just thought I'd share.

I picked up a "Wham!" cassette from a thrift shop, because it had "Wake Me Up Before I Go Go" and with my volunteer's discount it was only a quarter.
