Oh boy, this will take me awhile, but I'll give it a shot:
Movie- If I had to pick one, I'd be lazy and say Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. But I've watched heaps of greater movies I'm sure, but I shouldn't list them all.
Artist/Band- I've discovered a lot of new favourites, but I'm going to pick Cliff Richard, since I'm not normally the type who tries to sample golden oldies. I can't stop humming "Living Doll" or "Summer Holiday."
Movie Soundtrack- Requiem for a Dream, which I watched this year. Great great great soundtrack.
TV Show- I live in Australia, so I'd have to pick the local John Safran versus God. This guy used to work in advertising but broke into TV eventually, and is infamous for streaking through Jerusalem, getting attacked by a popular TV anchor, flying a robotic bird with a cigarette in it's beak onto a cricket pitch, among other stuff. Does some pretty clever and funny stunts to prove a point regardless of the consequences (like dancing to Footloose in the playground of his old conservative school as they disapprove of mixed dancing). In this show, he studies religion and roadtests a few. He drinks peyote in the middle of the desert in America somewhere, gets disciplinary beatings from Bhudist monks, attends a couple of voodoo ceremonies, puts a fatwah on a popular Australian TV personality, and then finally gets exorcised by this Christian evangelist. Not as good as his earlier Music Jamboree show, because it seems like he's trying to annoy as many people as he can with versus God, but it's still the most entertaining show I watched this year. Sorry for that long explanation!
Video Game- I'm not much of a gamer, but I finally played Final Fantasy VII this year, and loved it.
Puppet show- Team America: World Police hands down.
Book- Didn't do a lot of reading this year. The best I can think of was The Lovely Bones, which I couldn't put down.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaalrighty... Movie- I can't narrow it down to one, so I'll narrow it down to two instead. Kill Bill 2 (don't hurt me, Justin) and the Triplets of Belleville. Music- 2004 was the year I discovered Tenacious D, and their album is probably the best non-2004 album I bought this year. I didn't buy many 2004 albums (although I meant to), but my favorite has to be Probot's debut album. My favorite song of 2004, on the other hand, is a tie between Common People by William Shatner (neeeeeeeeeeeeeerd!) and Godhopping by Dogs Die in Hot Cars. Movie Soundtrack- The soundtrack I compiled for my Media Art movie ;D. Loser by Beck, Hit and Run Holiday by Thrill Kill Kult, Blister in the Sun by Violent Femmes, Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix, Bandages by Hot Hot Heat, Happy Together by the Turtles, and No More Mr. Nice Guy by Alice Cooper. Horrible class, great movie, better soundtrack. T.V. Show- Dead Like Me and Six Feet Under, without a doubt. I'm still waiting for the next season of Carnivale, though . Video Game- Custom Robo and Harvest Moon. Both for the Gamecube. Puppet Show- Triumph the Insult Comic Dog's stuff on Conan O'Brien. Especially the Best of DVD. Team America was meh-ish. Book- I got the first two books in the Series of Unfortunate Events...uh...series for christmas, and I read the first one (The Bad Beginning) almost entirely that night. I had tons of fun reading it, so I guess that's my answer.

Movie: The Incredibles and Napoleon Dynamite (Both of which haven't been reviewed, hint, hint)
Music: Modest Mouse- Good News for People Who Love Bad News.
Movie Soundtrack- Napoleon Dynamite- The A-Team... The Flippin' A TEAM!
TV Show- Arrested Development- I nominate David Cross for the greatest person in the world award.
Video Game- Mario & Luigi/ GBA- I finished it in the summer and recently started Paper Mario 2 which also rocks the awesome house.
Puppet Show- They were all the best in my mind.
Book- I just got it for Christmas, but The Perks of Being a Wallflower is very, very, very good so far.

** Movie of 2004 - I'll go with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, mainly because it's the first movie that my wife and I got to go out on a date to see post-birth of our daughter.
** Artist/Band/CD of 2004 - Eric Clapton's Me and Mr. Johnson. All Robert Johnson songs done by Clapton. Excellent. ** Movie Soundtrack of 2004 - I'll go with Kill Bill Vol 1. My wife still walks around the house singing "I'm bluuuuuuuue-dooby dooby dooby doo."
** TV show of 2004 - Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Discovered it last week.
** Video/Computer Game of 2004 - Half Life 1. Yes, you read correctly - 1. Due to my computer's low end specs, I'm a bit of a late bloomer.
** Puppet Show of 2004 - I put on this radical puppet show about a month ago for my daughter (1 yrs old) with Elmo and The Little Mermaid. She was highly entertained, and then proceeded to try to eat Elmo.
** Book of 2004 - America: The Book by the Daily Show people. Got it for Christmas, finished it today. It rocks.

Video Game: three-way tie between WarioWare, Inc./MGS: Twin Snakes/Halo 2

Book: either Turn, Magic Wheel by Dawn Powell or The Watchmen by Alan Moore (if that counts)

Always fun!
Movie of 2004- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I might nitpick it to death, but that's only because I enjoy doing that. And I must hug Alphanso Cuaron, because aside from the mustache I really really really like his interpretation of Lupin and Sirius, and the much darker tone of Hogwarts. (But he gets a kick for putting an "e" in "Moony.")
Artist/Band/CD of 2004- See below? I think my favorite song of 2004 is "Holy Water" by Big and Rich. BEAUTIFUL song, even if you're not a country fan.
Movie Soundtrack of 2004- Bearing in mind I've yet to see Phantom, hands down Shrek 2. No contest.
TV show of 2004- Duckie and I have finally starting watching West Wing. We ADORE West Wing. I should finish on the computer and take my bath so we can watch an episode now. Hmmmm....
Video/Computer Game of 2004- Really don't care.
Puppet Show of 2004- Any time I see the Muppets, it's a good thing.
Book of 2004- The Bartiemus (I know I spelled that wrong) trilogy by Jonathan Stroud is pretty good, and so is LSASoUE.

Music- 2004 was the year I discovered Tenacious D, and their album is probably the best non-2004 album I bought this year. Scratch that. Tom Waits' Rain Dogs album was the best non-2004 album I bought. You gotta be accurate .

Movie- Nuts to you all, I loved Spider-Man 2. Go get 'em, tiger!
CD- The Record Exchange, Princeton's awesome new & used music store, yielded me a surprise gem in Aware Greatest Hits, basically a compilation of some of the best mid-90s, Empire Records-style music. Great songs by Better Than Ezra, Vertical Horizon (back when they were acoustic), Guster, The Verve Pipe, Cary Pierce (of Jackopierce, doing a totally sweet song I'd never heard before), Five For Fighting, Gin Blossoms, and some cats named Tabitha's Secret who would, apparently, go on to fame and fortune by renaming themselves Matchbox 20. Weird.
Soundtrack- Shrek 2 was awesome, but I gotta go with Garden State. Zach Braff's musical taste rules!
TV show- 24. I love Scrubs, but it hasn't been quite as consistent recently. Jack, on the other hand, never lets me down.
Video Game- These days I be ballin' wit' GTA: San Andreas, fo' sho.
Puppet Show- I rediscovered The Muppet Movie this year; man, that movie was awesome.
Book- Gonna go with Love Monkey by Kyle Baker, I think. Not quite the next High Fidelity, but close.

** Movie of 2004
Return of the King. Which was technically 2003, but dammit, the Oscars! And the DVD release!
** Artist/Band/CD of 2004
I love the new U2, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Nice to see them return to something closer to their early 90's sound.
** TV show of 2004
Scrubs, in the most peripheral way possible, because I don't watch a lot of TV. But it's a quality show, and I was particularly impressed by Michael J Fox's turn on it.
** Video/Computer Game of 2004
Metroid Prime 2 is heaping helpings of fun. Halo 2 also seriously rocks the house... best multiplayer experience I've had in years.
** Puppet Show of 2004
The police say I can't talk about that.
** Book of 2004
Single book: The Dark Tower by Stephen King, although I read the entire series from October to December. Blew my mind. Flawed in retrospect, but definitely an incredible read.

Ok, let's see here...
Movie - Shrek 2, i am a slave to the cute kitty eyes.
Artis/Band/CD - Marroon 5, after being addicted to their song "This Love" for 3 months i finally bought their CD and i love it.
Movie Soundtrack - Shrek 2, simply because it is the only one that sticks out in my mind. And the eyes...... the eyes!
TV Show - I don't watch much TV, but i discovered CSI and thoroughly enjoyed watching the many seasons on DVD
Video/Computer Game - GTA: San Andreas, there is no better way to release frustrations than by beating virtual people with a shovel.
Puppet Show - Mr. Squeegee Goes to Bug Land. (not a real show but if it was it would top my list for 2004. Hands Down)
Book - Hearts in Atlantis by Steven King, I was surprised to find out that the movie only covered the first half of the book.
Happy New Year to all!

** Movie of 2004 - I discovered A Hard Day's Night in 2004. I'm a Beatles freak. ** Artist/Band/CD of 2004 - Oh, without a doubt Loretta Lynn's "Van Lear Rose". She still kicks some serious ass, and with Jack White producing, it's the only country album I own/listen to. ** Movie Soundtrack of 2004 - I "discovered" The Who's Tommy, does that count? ** TV show of 2004 - VH1's "Best Week Ever". I am the ADD pop culture freak... all shall bow down to me! ** Video/Computer Game of 2004 - None. I don't play 'em. ** Puppet Show of 2004 - ** Book of 2004 - Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series.

Movie: The Incredibles
Artist/Band: The Plump DJ's
Movie Soundtrack: Nothing stuck out but I started listening to the Run Lola Run soundtrack again.
TV Show: Didn't watch much t.v. this year.
Video Game: Halo/Halo 2, love the multiplayer. I bought Halo for the PC and haven't even bothered playing the campaign.
Puppet Show: I hate puppets
Book: I've read so many I can't recall them all but Belarus by Lee Hogan was good as was Souls in the Great Machine by Sean McMullen.

Movies Hmmm. You can tell it's a bad year when you can't sit down and think of a single movie that came out this year that you think everyone should go and watch immediately. There's lots of movies that I'm looking forward to next year, but this year? Dunno.
Music At the beginning of the year, I really fell in love with both Music for the Mature B-Boy by DJ Format, and Fire by Electric 6. More recently I have enjoyed the new Handsome Boy Modelling School CD and the new REM album, Around The Sun.
Movie Soundtrack Kill Bill 1 & 2 are the only soundtracks I've listened to with any regularity this year, with the exception of Romeo + Juliet and The Crow, which I listen to all the time anyway.
TV Show Apart from my love of loads of british Sitcoms no-one has ever heard of, Deadwood gets an honourable mention, but nothing can transcend my love for The West Wing.
Computer Game Warhammer 40k:Dawn of War on the PC has been my constant companion for the last 3 month, I play it online about 4 times a week for hours upon end, and I'm a hopeless addict. join us.
Puppet Show The answer to this question is always and forever The Muppet Show. Anyone disagreeing with this will be marked for termination when the Glorious Revolution of Rich occurs.
Book I read a lot of books I hated this year, if that counts? Most of the books I read this year were re-reads or awful, so I don't really have a recommendation. Well, I do. I recommend not reading Dan Brown's stuff because he's an over-rated hack.
