Today was the first day of snow here too. Misery is feeling your just-showered, semi-long hair freeze on the way to school and knowing the worst is yet to come.

Cracking a back tooth and finding out you need a filling and a crown. I go in on Wednesday. Jeez, I *hate* the dentist...

Hard to top alzheimers...
Well, on LESS of a bad note... My girlfriend had to go back to Canada today. I got to spend 2 incredible weeks with her. It'snot everyday you get to meet the person that makes you whole... and then having to put her on an airplane. Oh well, I move to Canada in 6 months anyway. so at least there is a MAJOR up-side to this.

Getting accepted into a really impressive film school, only to get a letter from them a month later saying that the school is going belly-up and that all future classes have been canceled.
Oh, the obscenities I've been spewing . . .

Thanks for the condolences, guys.
Anyway, Misery is watching No Country For Old Men. What a friggin' waste. Is this really the best the Oscar season has to offer?

I hope you do review No Country, Al. I'd like to know what sort of appeal the movie could possibly have.

Having someone intentionally almost run you over with their car as they drive off without paying for their gas.
On the other hand, happiness is that the cops caught him and took him to jail.
