Sting coming down with the flu, postponing a couple of Police shows, and putting this weekend's Atlanta shows in jeopardy...and I'm in the second row! (Petty, I know, but a bunch of people and I were meeting up to make this a big fun weekend and well...crap. )

OK. I peed a rock, and I still think that sucks big time. Hope the show happens.

Grats on your new baby, Mike. I know the labor had to be painful.

Spending money I don't have on hair dye I didn't need because the job interview I bought it for was shut down two minutes in because I can't work in Ottawa on Christmas Eve if I plan to be in BC at Christmas. Phew, that's a long sentence. (Hair was purple, is now dark brown.)

You gave up your purple hair? Don't bow down to The Man! Let your freak flag fly!
...says the man wearing khakis and button downs in a cubicle.

OK. I peed a rock, and I still think that sucks big time. You know, Mike, if you put it under your pillow you get a quarter!

Hey, when I took a corporate job, I kept my earrings in and my goatee. The only thing that could make me get rid of those was The Woman. -D In truth I was thinking about doing it anyway. Manic Panic + clothing, skin, pillows one wants to keep their original hue (especially the skin) = bad combo. This was just the catalyst. No, wait - The Man is keeping me down! Boo! Hiss! Help, help, I'm being oppressed!

my 2nd day back at work after maternity leave. I wanna go home!
Sorry about the kindey stone, Mike. I had 2 of those, once. The only thing worse than passing one is knowing that there's another on the way through.
And, incidentally- now that I've gone through both childbirth and kidney stones- FYI- kidney stones were worse.

Mike, I think you should make a necklace out of it, or something. Maybe for Sarahbot? That'd be a great way to gross out The Man!

"Nice necklace."
"Thanks! It's the crystallized minerals from a strange man's kidney, or possibly urinary tract! I got it over the internet!"
Ah, the modern age.

...forgetting that my film class was canceled, and then wondering where everyone else is.
On the first day of snow.
And then shoveling out the driveway, which took an hour and a half.
