Let's just say the washing machine has been going non-stop, and my record is three showers in one day.

Misery is....
watching 2 of your favorite UFC fighters go down brutally in the same night watching your alma mater completely blow the 2nd half of their bowl game watching your favorite NFL team get massacred by the Arizona Cardinals watching said alma mater lose to Clemson in the worst basketball game you've ever seen
AND ALL OF IT WITHIN A 2 WEEK SPAN

So I'm out walking yesterday, I look up for a second, and step on a patch of ice. I'm able to hold my balance so I don't fall. My leg twisted a little the wrong way but it doesn't really hurt that much. Everything's cool right? I keep walking. About two seconds after I get into the warm house I start to feel this pain shooting from just below my knee downwards.
Misery is pulling a muscle in your leg, but being too cold to realize it and continuing to walk, probably making it worse, and the house you're staying at is two levels.

Working retail during the post holiday season is bad enough. In this economy, you might as well give up. I'm actually regretting quitting my movie theatre usher job.

My local movie theater (12 screens, for what it's worth) showing a grand total of ONE of the five films nominated for Best Picture (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).
The Wrestler is also not showing at that theater. But if you want to see Bride Wars or Hotel for Dogs, have I got the theater for you!
(EDIT: I spoke too soon... Slumdog Millionaire will be showing starting tomorrow. Of course, that's the one I've already seen, but I'll take it as a good first step.)

...Moving back in with your parents. Yes, it's official, I am financially incapable of independence. The fact that they've taken to calling me their "long-term resident" also helps things tremendously.

Hey, I didn't leave home until I was 27. Its not that I WANTED to be at home all that time, but if the timing isn't right, it isn't right!

Sorry!!
If it makes you feel any better, Misery is your student loan institution taking out money they weren't supposed to and leaving you broke for the week.
