Well, it'd be nice if this works. I had to painfully ignore my girlfriend to draw it. artpad.art.com/?iu38ih2hu9cOh, yeah, it's gonna take a lllllooooonnnnnggggg time, so if you wanna watch the whole thing, pop some popcorn or somethin'. Otherwise, I'd skip the production and go straight to the finished product.

artpad.art.com/?iu847z1m6pn8Another redo. "From Hell." May or may not be an entry. A theory on not loading: Could it be that if we switch back and forth between two windows (for reference), it'll screw up? Because that's what I've done on the last three attempts. But I did one without switching windows and it works fine.

I'm not seeing those last two (sigh). What's causing this, or what did the people do to make it work vs. cause it to stall like this?

I'm starting to think the problem lies with the artpad site itself. I created a few doodles today and the links assigned to them lead to blank canvases as well. Maybe an email to the artpad's webmaster would be in order?
Just a shot in the dark - Maybe it something to do with the fact that when we're drawing the doodles, we're using the Beta Version 2.2, but version 2.1 is always loaded for viewing?

Seriously, I went and drew it again, and it didn't work, again. I went straight to the site, I didn't use any forum links...and it's just not saving for me.

Here is my try, hope the link works: artpad.art.com/?iu6j2derz8gIt's not technically a scene from the movie, but I really like this cover, so I'll take my chances. -TGS Edit: I don't think it works; at least not for me. Well, there's two hours of my life I can't get back from artpad.

Two hours???
You're either distressingly thorough, or going for the pity vote. Either way, I can't compete.

Nah I wasn't going for the pity vote, it came out pretty good. I draw and paint as a hobby, especially portraits, and am very thorough. Did the link work for you?

Unless someone can figure this weird bug out, we'll probably have to cancel/postpone the contest -- I give it till Sunday night for our best troubleshooters to research the issue.
I apologize to those who put a lot of time and effort into a painting and then lost it. I've never had a problem with this program before, and it was perfect for this sort of contest.

I think the problem might have to do with the 2.2 Beta version versus the 2.1. IIRC all the ones that have worked have been on the 2.1 version, and when I try to start a new work off of their pages it switches to 2.2. Anyways, I sent an email to artpad@art.com notifying them of this problem, so hopefully I will get an answer before Sunday night.
Also, thanks for the welcome, Neighbor to the North.
