First time here, lets have a go...
1) Microphone? - Rocky winning the belt in rocky II, it's the ring announcers
2) Emporer or lightsaber? - Lets say Star Wars episode I: for a lightsaber (obi wan vs maul) and any scene where the emperor is with maul otherwise
3) Phone - Don't know the actual movie. Answer - Trinity answering the phone at the beginning of the Matrix
4) Guitar - Walk the line - any scene with Johnny Cash playing guitar
5) Snake - From Dusk Till Dawn wrapped lovingly round Salma Hayek

Amelanistic snakes also come in white, pink, and (more rarely) violet depending on species.
Pink cobras are hilarious because they have that little puckered mouth for their tongue to come out of. It's a deadly venomous creature! And he wants you to have this Valentine! Bwa ha!

I've never seen one of these on a Discovery or NG program. I did not know that, apparently (according to morereptiles.com) they're missing their black pigment.(melanine)

Dang it! I missed it again The third picture looks very familiar. So much infact that it's now driving me crazy I hope that you reveal where those pics came from otherwise I might be going through a few sleepless nights trying to figure it out.

Bonus round over! Now we do super happy answer check time! The Score!SpiderDancer gets a full, satisfying 7 (first around the post, one movie correct), but Carrie Anne Moss is going to be PISSED that you think she looks like Chow Yun Fat. StormRider nicks 5 points. Good, solid answers, just no movies right. And yes, I know the snake picture isn't the best. But wait till you see the whole pic. MrShady enters the contest with a haughty 7 points! Two movies correct, sir, well done! Magill squeaks out 5. I'll allow Trinity as the answer, even though the point was really the phone, and I included Trinity's face to keep the question from being stupidly impossible. StarOpal manages to sneak away with 6, which is lucky because six other players were online while I was waiting for the fifth player to show up. Cuttin' it close, girl! So let's see that answer list! A microphone from Rocky II (MrShady) my original source pic has disappeared, but this is close enoughA lightsaber from Return of the Jedi (SpiderDancer) A phone from The Matrix ((MrShady) A guitar from The Sound of Music (StarOpal) A snake from Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest (a tough one I admit, no one got it) Now how about... The Standings!StarOpal 28 Lordmoon 18 StormRider 15 SpiderDancer 15 HeadMutant 11 OogieBoogieMan 11 Magill 10 Big T 9 MrShady 7 Lissa 5 Blinkfan 4 StarOpal extends her lead thanks to the shutout of LordMoon (who was in the wings when she submitted her post), while Magill makes things interesting on the bottom end of the scale. Fun round! As a side note, it's wonderful people have an interest in other cultures and purple snakes, but please start another thread if you want to discuss them. We have serious contest work afoot here! Next Round begins tomorrow morning. Set your alarm clocks!

I've been following the rules, what more do you want from me? For a colourer* of outside the lines like me that's hard! And, for the record, I did get clue 5. I may've got it too late, but I did get it! So there... Nanner. *my sorry attempt to get on the hunt keeper's good side by spelling in his native tongue

I'd mail you a purple snake, except that if I had one, I'd probably want to keep it.

Risky talk considering I only meant that there were a BUNCH of people signed into the Forum at the moment you made your post, not that you did something poorly. So. Nanner, is it? Hmmm...
