When your first order of business upon arriving in England is to buy a Doctor Who action figure...and forget about necessities like pillows, soap, etc...

I heard this last night from a guildmate on World of Warcraft, thought it was pretty funny.
We have a pair of sisters in our guild, both with weird senses of humor. Apparently, one day one of the sisters was driving by a store and saw her other sister's car in the parking lot. So she drove up, got out a marker and paper, and put a "/AFK" sign under the windshield wiper.

...you have to look up what "AFK" stands for.

You make a decorative Halloween tombstone that reads "RIP God...killed by a pack of Ubermen."

You know you're a geek when you get a tattoo on your left forearm straight out of the Graphic Novel "Watchmen". Yes fellow geeks, I have the blood-stained smiley-face badge on my forearm. Yeah dude!!! I ROCK!!!!!!

I got it done about 3 days ago, so it hasn't quite healed up yet. The good thing is that my tattoo artist "Jersey Bob" (He's from Georgia) did a REALLY good job on the work. In about another month I will be going back in so he can do the color over again. Yellow and red are the kinds of colors that take a second going-over for it to REALLY stand out.
P.S. How do I upload a picture onto the forum again? The last time I tried to post a picture I had to send it to you, Poolman. The first picture won't be exceptionally bright, but it's still healing.

You know you're a geek when you freak out your fellow EMT student by talking about spiders.
...And you know you're a geek when someone mentions how much cigarette users spend in a year on cigs, and you say, "Dude, I could buy ALIENWARE with that much money!"

I formally request a picture, sir. That sounds awesome! I echo PoolMan's sentiments and reiterate the request for photographic documentation when the healing is finished. Awesome! Qui custodiet ipsos custodes?-D

you apparently watched so much Law & Order during your pregnancy that your baby perks up when he hears the theme song...

If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks, you can email it to me and I'll FTP it up to my web space when I get home from my business trip (I can't access pic hosts from my work machine, and I'm physically away from my home machine). I can post it then. Otherwise, can anyone host the pic?

Sirgallahad- If you get a free account at photobucket.com you can upload your picture there and then under the uploaded picture in your account there will be code that you can use to post the picture. You just have to type [*img]WEBADDRESSOFTHEIMAGE[/img*] without the asterisks and the picture should post. If you have any trouble or can't figure it out, feel free to e-mail it to me and I'll host it

...when you plan trips to the gym around "Scrubs" re-runs (or around Shark Week, for one glorious seven day stretch in August)
- when you make the obvious "save the cheerleader" joke in the "Heroes" section of your MySpace page
- when your claim to fame among most of your friends is knowing everything about professional wrestling circa 1984-2000
