Heroes episode 5 I say to you.... HELL YEAH!!! Things are really starting to gel, the only mutant that is kinda off the band-wagon is the psychic cop, but he still has issues with his powers(and that problem at the supermarket won't help his marriage one bit)
Great moves on Flying Brother, Superman's got nothing on him, was that a sonic-boom and a vapor trail? Great stuff.
I'm glad to see the writers didn't neglect a time paradox when Future Hiro mentioned he was risking a rift.
Splendid that Younger Brother can now use his powers at will, and as we saw no Rogue-like side-effects. Great thing he and The Artist get together alright and now know they have to save The Cheerleader in order to save everything, AND they now will have Hiro on their side. Interesting how they're starting to chain-up, first Younger Brother and The Artist, next will be Hiro who saw Older Brother fly, who spent the night with Blond Mom Who's Power We Still Don't Know What Actually Does.
Kudos to StarOpal for sticking to her brain eating(or removing I might say) theory, apparently that is the only way you can kill The Cheerleader. However everything seems to hang on her power, what do you think that she will save New York by absorbing the bomb's explosion? or somehow surviving it or something? I must think that her power will allow her to sustain apocalyptic-like damage and still carry on, much like Wolverine did in X3.
Oh and I don't think she wanted to kill the jock, I think her priority was to really hurt him, maim him, injure him, and if he would have died it wouldn't have been that much of a biggie, but I don't think killing him was her intention.
I can barely wait to see the next one, I can only hope it's gonna be at least as fast paced as this one, and it should, we have Younger Brother and The Artist talking to Hiro, and Blond Mom's husband in the house.
I am wondering what the hell the strange "f" symbol represents, I mean Blond Mom has a tattoo, Syler has a necklace, and it was visible in the Professor's gene sequence, could it be the genetic mark of the mutants?

Blonde Momshell was less irritating, and -yeeha!- Black Guy is the kid's dad. Not so fast. The guy who hangs with the Possibly Evil Glasses Dad is not D.L. (Micah's father). Yes, they're both bald black men, but they're played by 2 different actors.

Pretty sure when someone with superpowers reveals their secrets and plunges into a brick wall...they intend to kill their victim. And yeah Kyle, that girl totally looks like Rachel Bilson--with very little hair.

This show is so freakin' awesome. I haven't missed an episode. I'm hooked.
Also, I just went to IMDB and found out who is playing Sylar...
SPOILER! (highlight to read)
Sean Bean! That's so COOL!
End spoilers.
Well, I'm excited. Can't wait for the next episode.

I was doing something else during that part and was mostly just listening, so I only caught glimpses of what was going on on-screen.

This last episode was very interesting. And the reaction on the Galasses-man face when he heard the warning has made me think that maybe he isn't a bad guy afterall. Looking back on it he hasn't really done anything that would make him a bad guy. He just seems to have a very deep interest in superpowered activities.

Well, well, well, the plot thins. Way to go to StarOpal and I for saying in advance that Lizard Chic is working for Evil Glasses Man. Now indeed we do not know how evil he is, but he is working with who we suppose is this Syler dude although it might not be, and I believe he is investigating the superpower thing because of his daughter.
Now Blond Mom's Husband has Kitty Pride-like powers, but Blond Mom had the most interesting power yet, I say had because they left us to understand she died, when she was in Bad Personality Mode she also has super-strength, while in Normal Mode she's just...well..normal. Nice thing she got to communicate with herself before she died.(presumably)
Not nearly enough Japanese Guy and Sidekick action in this episode, maybe next time.
Damn the Lizard Chic she is infiltrating The Artist, and therefor Younger Brother, and also could have access to their information and/or future plans.

Sylar and that guy aren't the same guy. I'm sticking by this one. ...And brain eating.
See, I think it would be possibly interesting if the Evil Glasses Man was instead Okay Not Evil But Still Demmed Creepy Man.
This episode had too much Blonde Mom for me *snooze* Is it wrong that I hope she stays dead? (but the odds are, unfortunately, slim to none) The hubby's kinda neat though.

Hiro finally gets to do something heroic. Woot! Looks like we have a possible candidate for the big boom (see Marvel's Sunfire ). And the little kid is a lot like Marvel's Forge. Overall this episode was very exciting and I'm looking forward to more.

I KNEW the kid would have powers. You can't be in a show like this and have TWO super-powered parents and not have powers of some kind. It just doesn't happen.
Interestingly, I suppose this confirms that powers seem to run in families but seem to have nothing to do with each other (the kid's power seems to be technology aptitude/manipulation, while his parents are walk-through-walls/alternate evil super-strong personality); this tracks with the fact that Peter Petrelli's power (mimic) has nothing to do with his brother Nathan's (flight).
Hiro really does rule, but I am a bit worried about his sidekick (can't remember his name at the moment); I mean, he's the sidekick of the comic relief character! That's pretty low on the survival totem pole. Also, I hope the glimpse we got of future Hiro is a prediction of what some of the other characters are going to look/act like in the future.
What I'm wondering is, will the Professor's kid (can't remember his name either) turn out to have a power of his own, or will he just be some sort of unifier for the other characters? I suppose he could become sort of this show's Professor X-type character. Only whinier.

Another thought: What if it's not a nuclear bomb, BUT a mutant able to generate that power going super nova? *whistling* Well, the Blonde Mom lived, of course. Dang! *snaps fingers* Hiro is, by far, my favorite part of the whole show. It could become The Hiro Hero Hour and that'd be fine with me. If the sidekick dies but the artist ex-girlfriend lives, I'm going to be so angry. I also thought the cheerleader's friend was really funny this episode. That remark about the "anal probing" made me laugh so hard. Poor Policeman. Sucks to be him.

My absolute favorite part of this last episode was the announcer stating over the previews for next week, "and is this guy good or bad?" The network doesn't even know the name of the characters on this show...that's just awesome!

Could also her kid be supernaturally genius? I mean IF his dad is Syler or The Mute Black Guy, and his mother Blond Mom With Suppressed Rage, then he might be in a position to have inherited his parents genetic anomalies. We hadn't met Micah father then, BUT I was on the right track. And kudos to StarOpal for the nuclear-mutant plot, we now know that the nuclear-mutant isn't Syler. Poor, poor psychic cop...it;s nice to see the some more screen time for the Carnivale lady, now that was a cool show. And what's the deal with this Linderman-dude? He might be the Kingpin-figure, rich, mobster, interested in mutant activity. I fear that Glasses-Man and Lizard Chic are working for him, and that they kidnaped The Artist.

The network doesn't even know the name of the characters on this show...that's just awesome! That was pretty awesome! That and she's just "The Cheerleader" crack me up. Hiro's the only one who deserves a name anyway... Okay, finally a more solid appearance of Sylar. I admit it, I squealed and grabbed a pillow when I saw his hand, and that he was in the same diner as Hiro and Sidekick. (Yes, I have my goofy moments. Your point being?) Wow, completely shocked by the whole killing. What was with the clock-work ticking? That was spooky. So he's not "Evil" just "Creepy" Glasses Man. I can live with that. Lizard Chick has powers. Prof. Jr. may have powers or it could just be that kid he found the file on. "Save the Cheerleader, save the world." With her regenerative powers she's the only one who could get close enough to the radioactive mutant to stop him. Mmm hmm. I can't wait for the next episode.

Yes StarOpal I do think that also, thought of it actually. Kudos to StarOpal for sticking to her brain eating(or removing I might say) theory, apparently that is the only way you can kill The Cheerleader. I must think that her power will allow her to sustain apocalyptic-like damage and still carry on, much like Wolverine did in X3. Yeah it's just Creepy Glasses Man, but we can be sure Hiro will be OK since the Artist painted him and the sidekick with the homecoming banner in the background. Something happened in the past because he appears in the photo on the cork-board, maybe he and super-memory girl left before he and sidekick came in to avoid a time paradox/rift. Lizard Chic does have powers, drat, and I believe the Indian kid has powers since the professor had a folder on him. He has some weird Pensieve-like powers. On a related subject...radiation-mutant reminds me a little of a certain bad-guy from Batman Of The Future/Beyond series, but that guy had radiation issues galore. I wonder if this dude could focus his powers in radiation-beams, BOOM instant X-ray.
