I forgot to mention it on my last post in this thread, but i also won an auction on eBay for Green Jelly's Cereal Killer Soundtrack on vinyl around the same time I bought the Probot cd.

Erm... I just bought The Who's Tommy, after lusting after it for two months. Technically I didn't buy it, I got a gift certificate to a local independent record store. Why buy it when someone buys it for you? ;D
Of course, I had to get it "approved" by the friend that gave me the gift certificate... he's a friend of my dad's, and he has very... ah... UNIQUE tastes.

Replying to myself. Bad practice. Bought "Hey Ho! Let's Go! Ramones Anthology" in memory of Johnny Ramone. And Dee Dee. Hell, Joey too. Whatever. Johnny is now dead and when Marky and Tommy die my world may just stop spinning.

Man, I went on a bit of a music binge. Bought ACDC's "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black", John Mayer's "Room For Squares", Tenacious D's s/t album, and i bought Skid Row's "B-Side Ourselves" on vinyl.
Also I got a little extra something...instead of sending me "Alive", the eBay guy sends me "Alive 2", and they're sending "Alive", and they said I can keep both. So...yeah...proud of myself.

I got Adam's Housecat's album Tag, You're It. Not many people have heard of Adam's Housecat, but when I start to sing "The Wrestling Song" they know instantly.

Green Day- American Idiot
I feel like punching myself hard in the head for buying something even remotely close to Blink 1 eighty POO (hee hee) but I really like it. I heard it's supposed to be some kind of story but I didn't catch it, maybe if I listen to it some more I'll understand though.

I recently bought The Killers' Hot Fuss, as well as Franz Ferdinand's new album. The Killers album has been playing non-stop in my car CD player. Not sure how to explain the music, expect to say it sounds like the Alarm meets New Order meets Dead or Alive meets the Hooters meets.... ? There's definitely a strong 80's synth-pop feel to it. Somebody Told Me kicks butt. C'mon, how can you not like a song with lyrics like, "Somebody told me you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend that I had in February of last year. It's not confidential, I've got potential..." ;D

Haven't yet, but I need to get the new REM album soon. I dunno, though; it's gotten pretty good reviews, but they took off most of the fast, upbeat songs so they could emphasize their political unhappiness. Bleh. Thank goodness the concert I'm going to in November is AFTER the election, so hopefully we can dispense with the political rhetoric and just get some damn fine music. (Wonder if they'll play extra songs if Kerry wins... huh, that might be worth my vote...)

I recently bought The Killers' Hot Fuss, as well as Franz Ferdinand's new album. Aye, we appear to have a strange coincidence on our hands here. You see, Duckie and I seem to have the exact same taste in new music. However, I haven't gotten the Franz Ferdinand album yet (it's next on my list), but I do have the Killers, and that's just freaky.

Or was that just me? ummm, ermm, I'll just put my headphones back on...;D
